2.705 pairs of shoes

 

Once again we want to close the loop.

Be part of our initiative to reuse/recycle old footwear. For each pair of unwanted shoes, regardless of the brand, receive an immediate 10% discount on the purchase of a new pair. This campaign is available at our official stores (Lisbon, Maia, Barcelona, Madrid and Vigo), and at participating stores in Portugal and Spain.

SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

We work in a way that is better for People and for the Planet. We work for a more Sustainable Future. In our first campaign of old footwear reuse/recycle, in 2022, we gather 2.705 pairs of shoes.

For 2023 we want to increase this number. We want your old shoes. By joining us you are contributing to a more Sustainable Future, moving towards a circular economy.

This project is carried out in collaboration with Texlimca, experts in textile circularity.  They are responsible to collect, inspect and sort the footwear – some are reuse, others are broken down into raw materials.

How to contribute:

  1. Collect your old shoes;
  2. Return them at an official A’RCOPEDICO® store or participating store;
  3. Footwear must be clean and dry. Shoes in other conditions are not accepted;
  4. Receive a 10% voucher for your next buy*

*For each pair of shoes you will be rewarded with an immediate 10% discount to be used against a new A’RCOPEDICO pair. Discount cannot be accumulate. All information available at store. Campaign valid from 16.07.2023 to 31.12.2025

ACCEPTED

  • Any style of footwear, from sandals, ballet flats, boot or flip flops;
  • Shoes of any brand or gender (women, men and kids);
  • If possible, tie the shoes together;
  • All footwear must be clean and dry.

NOT ACCEPTED

  • Clothes and/or textile items of any type or quality;
  • Ski boots or rollerblades;
  • Dirty or wet items.
